Embarking on a fascinating journey from his early days as a sports enthusiast and team leader to his tenure as a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Navy, Paul Sterriker has consistently showcased an unparalleled ability to inspire and guide others. With an impressive 30-year track record of establishing and managing businesses in a diverse array of sectors-including staffing, recruitment, healthcare, creative marketing, and property development-Paul's unwavering drive for success is truly remarkable. Presently, he is reconnecting with his artistic roots, collaborating with his wife, Dr. Kasia Sterriker, to pioneer a groundbreaking approach to environmental art and biophilic designs.
Hailing from England, Paul Sterriker was fortunate to have grown up in a nurturing environment that encouraged the pursuit of his dreams. After serving briefly in the Royal Navy, he made a seamless transition to the entrepreneurial world, where he flourished as the founder and CEO of multiple ventures. Reflecting upon his experiences, Paul shared, "I have always been motivated by the thrill of overcoming challenges, the spirit of competition, and the opportunity to transform ideas into thriving businesses."
While Paul relishes the commercial aspects of property development, his true passion lies in creatively transforming spaces to enhance the lives of their inhabitants. Currently, Paul Sterriker and his wife, Kasia Sterriker, are collaborating to develop a revolutionary genre of environmental art. Drawing inspiration from Far Eastern landscape miniaturization arts like Bonsai and Saikei, the couple has aptly named their innovative living sculptures "Beyond Bonsai." They are also experimenting with non-organic materials such as bronze, resin, and marble to create intricate, detailed pieces.
The Sterrikers' vision goes beyond merely crafting visually stunning works; they firmly believe in the power of environmental art to enhance the physical and mental well-being of those who engage with it. To achieve this objective, they are curating a portfolio of living pieces featuring trees native to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and mentioned in the Holy Quran, which will enable their creations to thrive in climates where traditional bonsai would falter.
With the invaluable support of Kasia's father, Wlodzimierz Pietraszko-an International Bonsai Master-Paul and Kasia are poised to elevate their endeavors in property development and environmental art to unprecedented heights, both within the UAE and beyond.
As Paul Sterriker's extraordinary journey unfolds, he remains steadfastly motivated by challenges, competition, and the prospect of mentoring and supporting others. Boasting a wide range of accomplishments and an unwavering dedication to his passions, Paul's story serves as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs and environmental artists alike.
