The United Arab Emirates has expressed its keenness to strengthen economic, trade and investment relations with the Latin America countries, especially Chile, in near future.

UAE's Abdullah Al Saleh, undersecretary of the ministry of foreign trade met Felix de Vicente, director of ProChile, the Export Promotion Bureau of Chile, and his accompanying delegation here Wednesday.

Al Saleh noted that there were still many areas for collaboration and valuable opportunities to expand trade cooperation base between the two countries.

The meet was held at the headquarters of the ministry on the sidelines of "Gulfood" exhibition in which Chile is also participating.
