Driver dies when truck crashes into pond

HOUSTON - A man died Sunday when his truck crashed into a pond, Houston Police said. Police said the truck was speeding on Freehill and Kurland when it hit a curb and crashed into a pond at around 10 a.m. A witness saw the crash and was able to get the driver out of the truck, but could not pull him out of the water, according to police.
